That of the Giurdanella Dairy is a family story that has its roots in the early fifties when grandfather Salvatore prepared cheeses and ricotta transforming good fresh milk into typical products of the land where he was born, on the slopes of the Iblei Mountains between the picturesque Ragusa Ibla and the ancient County of Modica.
Over the years, the art of cheese passes to Giuseppe and Maria Giurdanella who with love and dedication have maintained those essential values, the fruit of those who know the profession well, reaching the third generation. Today his son Alessandro Giurdanella, together with his wife Rosa, have been able to give a new vision to an ancient craft that is part of the history of this part of Sicily, precisely in Modica in the province of Ragusa.
